1. ESTA

 - Required for entry into Hawaii, so if you are a Japanese national, please check.

2. Passport expiration date

 - If you are a Japanese national, you need at least 90 days. Please be careful.

3. Mobile Passport Control

 - If you are entering Hawaii with the same ESTA for the second time or more, we recommend registering for MPC( Applications for US Customs and Border Protection )  Immigration inspection is super fast.

4. Checking the schedule for your flight etc.

 - If you are sent to a separate room, you cannot use your smartphone, so prepare a paper copy.

5. Overseas travel insurance

 - Be sure to take out optional overseas travel insurance. It is absolutely necessary in case of an emergency.

6. Applying for overseas credit card payments

 - For Japanese Sumitomo and Rakuten, it is best to notify them in advance that you will be using the service overseas.
